I am a sophomore Finance and Honors College student at Miami University Farmer School of Business, seeking an internship in the Greater Chicago area for the summer of 2025. As a student in Finance, the courses at Miami have developed my analytical skills and quantitative skills while using Microsoft Excel and Access, along with SQL and Python. These quantitative skills I have learned have helped me excel in business finance, managerial, and financial accounting. Furthermore, I participated in Miami’s Client Challenge, a team project that involves presenting research and solutions to a company's specific prompt. During this project, I was taught many skills involving collaboration, public speaking, and data analysis. Beginning in 2020 I started caddying at La Grange Country Club in La Grange, Illinois. I am responsible for keeping the pace of play on the course and keeping the course in playable condition. Developing relationships with members to create a more enjoyable round and a more valuable experience and training new caddies through practice rounds, quizzes, and interpersonal conversations. Through my experiences here I have learned how to manage time properly, connect with people from a range of backgrounds, and express my expertise in the field training new caddies. Moreover, in 2023 I started working at Four Sons Mercantile in La Grange, Illinois where I have various responsibilities. I greet customers, organize and stock shelves with products, and take inventory. I am also responsible for checking customers out, customer returns, and opening and closing cash draws. I also work on uploading products onto the online website, pricing products online, and writing descriptions for online products. And finally, I am responsible for transferring and receiving products between stores and transporting products. I am also a Delta Chi Fraternity, Asset Management Club, and Economics Club member. I am excited for the opportunity to further develop my professional and interpersonal skills through an internship for the summer of 2025.
