Innovation is about bringing a team from an intent to the realisation of value. Sean has over 30 years practical experience of delivering new products, services, processes and business models. Sean founded Dolmen an internationally award-winning design and innovation consultancy in 1991, currently employing over 40 people. In 2021, Sean founded Insight Innovate (www.InsightInnovate.com) – an innovation training consultancy which focuses on partnering with ambitious teams and organisations to embed a systematic process to identify and validate unmet needs for growth opportunities. Over the past 12 years, Sean has delivered the BioInnovate Bootcamp and Industry Training – one of the most successful MedTech incubation programmes in Europe focused on Needs-led Innovation. Sean is now applying this Innovation Management System and its process across a range of industry sectors, from software to manufactured products.Sean has played a central role in the development of the ISO 56000, ISO 56002 and the ISO 56001. For over 10 years, Sean has been Chairperson of the NSAI Innovation TC45 Committee and led on the international working group for the development of ISO 56000 and 56002. Sean has also led the national team in the development of ISO 56001, a certifiable Innovation Management System standard due for publication in 2024.
