What a metamorphisis, stemming from a sales coach/ agent with a small recruiting and fitness background into a serial entrepreneur. After 20 years in Sales (last 10 including promotions & marketing) I have a very keen sence of change in understanding market shifts and evolution. I first set out on my 1st independent venture in 2008 when I hosted and promoted a comedy tour in WA and Portland, OR. Only one year later I had encountered opportunities to start a local entertainment business "SM Ent." hosting major name artists all of 2008-2009 in the music industry. This was the closure of a more immature chapter or pure "fun money." By now, it was time to get serious. 28 years old and HUNGRY! I needed to make a consistent living now, so then I created a VIP gift card membership program called "black key" which was branded as Portland's nightlife & entertainments' "key to the city" (my ticket) and eventually converting the brand into a local Advertising firm, offering unique (one of a kind strategy) marketing options. The concept was and still is based on the idea of cross promotion. This was Oct. 2009-late to present and is currently being rebranded and polished up for a re-launch of something far greater. In the last active months of our word of mouth campains, I found a passion for local coffee and healthy food, which derived from my 6 day a week B to B ventures, always stumbling upon Portland's greatest gems for over 5 years. Particularly, I have to give special thanks to "Sam" over at the Urban Grind for inspiring me to do coffee and food delivery. He always paid and fed me well along with outstanding coffee after promoting his product to the Ad agencies in the gorgeous Pearl District. This was the same year Uber and Lyft had truly made their mark here in Portland. I saw where this market was going, so I decided to blend the new age era of service with my old school methods of marketing. I would call it CafeGo! We're the towns coffee+food experts/CONCIERGE
