I have 8 years of extensive experience in Vanguard Class Submarines. I am highly organised and able to deliver successful results under challenging and pressurised work environments. I have successfully organised and executed large-scale and complex maintenance packages. ensuring that I approach tasks professionally not only for the completion of assignments but also adherence to health and safety regulations as well as established safe systems of work.Recently selected for Promotion to Petty Officer Engineering Technician following my exemplary performance during training, recent deployments and maintenance periods.I have experience with high pressure air systems and compressors, hydraulic systems, high pressure steam systems, environmental systems e.g. C02 Scrubbers and oxygen generators, refrigeration systems with a Level 2 F Gas & ODS Regulations certificate (Category 3 & 4), steam turbines for propulsion and electrical generation. as well as experience with the various pumps and motors (centrifugal and Positive displacement pumps), Heat exchangers, Bentley Air driers along with 3 years welding and fabrication experience.
