Current:• Integrated Compliance – Risk Intelligence and Evaluation. I am providing intelligence analysis on Serious Financial Crime Taskforce criminal investigation offender behaviour, recidivism and resource data analytics. This is directly supporting the Tax Evasion and Crime strategies, focusing on increasing our understanding of tax evasion and crime manifestations and criminal behaviour.Previous rotations:• Private Groups and High Wealth Individuals, Tax Evasion and Crime Operational Management From December 2018, I provided capability support to TEC-OM initiatives. Achievements included:- Redevelopment of the ATO Certificate IV in Government Investigations. Researched, analysed and reviewed criminal investigative procedures and policy, criminal taxation legislation and technical excellence practices for delivery to prospective investigators. Personally delivered over 40 presentations and other training and administrative material that was due within 1 month.- Reviewed, assessed and quality-assured current awareness and foundation level capability training for all Tax Evasion and Crime key initiatives, focusing specifically on Phoenix Taskforce, Illicit Tobacco Taskforce and evidence management procedures to improve their ability to respond to crime against the tax and super systems.- Seconded to Phoenix Taskforce as part of Operation Sultan. Providing intelligence analysis of telecommunications data in the form of IP addresses.- Designed Tax Crime knowledge presentations for senior directors and executives for delivery to internal and external stakeholders. A highlight was developing presentations for the “Black Economy Taskforce: A guide to referrals for audit staff” and for the OECD Asia Academy on GST fraud and other specialised investigative subjects delivered by a senior national director in Japan.In March 2019, I was advanced to APS4 in recognition that my performance in both rotations had consistently exceeded APS3 standards.

Venue Security and Operations Managers are responsible for project management and operational supervision of security effects and personnel for Commonwealth Games events. My duties included:• Personally responsible for all security effects, measures and staff at the Anna Meares Velodrome (Track Cycling). Served as deputy to General Manager (Velodrome), and second-in-command on all venue operations management decisions including for public attendees, athletes, and official visitors.• Lead planner for Track Cycling and Mountain Bike Events and assisted in Sports Shooting event. Track Cycling was the first operational venue that achieved “fit for operation” status from the Queensland Police Counter-Terrorism Unit. My venue was certified ahead of schedule. • Supported the implementation of the “Tools of the Trade” policy and procedure for use across all Commonwealth Games locations, deciding what items could be taken through security checkpoints by relevant staff, athletes and contractors.

Duties are assessed by Dept of Defence as equivalent to APS4.As a commissioned Ground Defence Officer, I commanded highly trained combat teams that defend air bases and installations, protect RAAF equipment, personnel, assets and facilities from hostile threats during operations in Australia and overseas. Operational deployments, personal achievements and formal education courses include:Deployed to Exercise Talisman Sabre 2017 (TS17), in Rockhampton, Queensland. Talisman Sabre is one of the largest multi-national military training exercises. TS17 was the largest to date, involving over 33,000 Australian and US troops and lasting over two months. I was responsible for:• Second in command of RAAF security forces at Rockhampton Airport, ensuring safety of all domestic and international Defence assets, personnel and equipment transferring through Rockhampton Airport.• Significant project management and leadership, to deploy and lead over 40 security personnel, vehicles, weapons and other logistical assets for the two-month operation. • Extensive liaison and stakeholder management through two separate chains of command. Also required extensive teamwork with other Dept of Defence and international security units. Civilian liaison included communication and collaboration with civilian Airport owners, and State government law enforcement agencies.

Bootcamp Instructor at ORIGINAL Bootcamp, Kings Park, Perth WA, conducting and planning group military-style fitness using equipment such as ropes, punching equipment, tyres, and sand running. ORIGINAL Bootcamp also conducted several personal resilience and endurance training events such as “Hell Week”, in which clients were put under harsh physical and mental stress to test their resilience, fortitude and endurance.

All Singaporean-born men are required to do national service, but only the top 10% are selected for Commando training. Of those, only the top 1% are selected to be Commando Officers. Commando Officers lead Singapore’s elite Commando unit, trained in Special Operations behind enemy lines, achieving vitally strategic tasks in near impossible conditions. They are Singapore’s most elite shock troops. Achievements included:• Selected and commissioned as one of the youngest Commando Officers in the Singaporean Army Commando formation (18 years old).• Second in Command of the Commando response for the safe arrival and departure of foreign dignitaries during the 2009 APEC meeting held in Singapore. I was only 19 years old at the time, yet placed with such a high level of responsibility and trust by my supervisors.• Selected by supervisors and peers as a Strike Reconnaissance Team Commander due to my superior abilities to identify, analyse and evaluate patterns from information gathered by multiple sources while maintaining the ability to adapt to changing priorities and make quick critical decisions under pressure.

Volunteer swimming and fitness coach at Barracudas Swimming Club, Churchlands WA, coaching children and adults, disabled and able bodied aged 6 – 80yrs old in both swimming and land group fitness.
