Key Responsibilities• Reporting to National Cement Logistics / Terminals Manager with responsibility for cementitious bulk powder depots, three of which are manned Import Terminal sites where product is imported via pneumatic self-discharge / open hold vessels or bulk powder tankers. • Ensuring Health & Safety standards and company assets are maintained.• Inspections and maintenance plans to avoid any delays in discharge and manage and control cost efficiencies to maintain and improve budgets, performance, industry standards and internal KPI metrics.• Manage and develop a Terminals Operations team including contractors.• Support the internal / external customers, developing and maintaining relationships with vendors and Port authorities ensuring legal compliance and providing a safe and healthy environment. • Introduction of Lean Management techniques and elimination of wastage. Arrange resources to ensure that are available to discharge vessels.• Ensure that all Bulk Cement Contract Hauliers operate to FORS Bronze standards and that compliance audits are carried out to ensure compliance and share best practice.• Logistics champion for rollout operational excellence to eliminate waste

Key Responsibilities• Reporting to National Cement Logistics / Terminals Manager, managing the logistics operation within a Cement plant.• Ensuring safe, legal, cost effective and customer service driven delivery of cement bulk dry powder, in accordance with operational demands and minimal cost of supply.• Managing fleet availability in line with sales forecasts, ensuring fleet is optimised and that assets are maintained within operator licence conditions, company policies and procedures, and legal compliance.• Managing and developing the Logistics Operations team including drivers, office staff and bulk loaders.• Supporting internal / external customers, developing and maintaining relationships with vendors, ensuring legal compliance and providing a safe and healthy environment.• Managing and controlling cost efficiencies to maintain and improve budgets, performance, industry standards and internal KPI metrics.

• Reporting to Regional Logistics Manager, managing the Aggregate / Asphalt logistics operation across the Yorkshire area.• Managing and developing a fleet of tipper trucks and drivers to maximise loads/ vehicle day, whilst replenishing stock in concrete plants outside normal operating hours• Maintaining relationships with sub-contract haulage fleet to ensure that capacity is available as and when the business requires.
