I am an entertainment media business & legal affairs executive with over 17 years of experience working in the industry, both in the studio and production company environments. I believe this experience has fostered my belief that the best deals are those that balance the competing interests of getting the best deal for you and your client with simply getting the deal done. My roles have focused on entertainment deal negotiation, including talent and production company engagements, production issues, acquisition, distribution, and clearance matters. I have hands-on experience with talent negotiation, production company engagement, format licensing, content acquisition and distribution, marketing and promotion, and various clearance matters for television and film. Further, I have acted as legal counsel on hundreds of hours of television and new media programming, and have had a few highly enjoyable periods working on documentary films. I am a Nebraska native with a pre-law career background filled with restaurant management and the making of, and study of, art, music and film. My wife and our three boys have recently relocated our adventure to Austin, Texas and as of late are truly missing live Dodger baseball games. I've also recently retired from the best Fleetwood Mac tribute band you've never heard of.
