Current 1st year Physics major at Temple University in Philadelphia, PA. I have substantial experience in leadership, sales, lifesaving, instruction, and customer relations.I held a job at the Resource in Burlington, VT--a non-profit reused goods store--for over 4 years working a variety of roles. - I worked in donation intake, sorting and assessing incoming donations for resale. - Repairing and researching electronics for sale on the floor.- Sorting and general maintenance of the floor space for an easier and more beneficial customer experience.- Running the cash register and answering the phone as well as customer questions.- Opening, closing, and counting the drawer when asked or management wasn't able to do so.I worked for 2 summers as a lifeguard and swim instructor at a local, privately owned, pool near my hometown in Vermont. This job entailed the following demands.- Ensuring general safety of the pool and its patrons.- Swim instruction for younger children in order to get them comfortable in the water.- General maintenance of the space and the surrounding gardenI have spent the past two summers serving as a camp leader for the Vermont Association for the Blind and Visually Impaired's short term summer camp.- Ensuring the safety of the kids- Leading activities- Contributing to the formation of new activities as well as leading themIn addition to these jobs that I have held.
