Fabricating plates and brackets to the correct measurements using apparatus I.e., 230mm and 115mm Angle grinder, Pillar drill. Chop saw, metal lathe, plasma cutter etc.• Mechanical FittingCutting and measuring sideguard under runs to length using a chop saw, making up mud guards, stays and applying them. Drilling chassis and truck bodies with hand drill. Chassis preparation.Fitting and running hydraulic suction hoses as well as testing hydraulic pressures. • Electrical AssemblyBody wiring, reading wiring diagrams, running looms, constructing and wiring lights / beacons to the truck bodies.
