My current role is across the Data & AI portfolio across BPP School of Technology, Estio and Firebrand Training focussing on the development of new products and programmes. I work closely with Marketing and Sales teams and provide consultation to clients developing training programmes aligned to client requirements.

My role is to design & curate the learning & support elements of the L3 Data Technician, L4 Data Analyst and L4 Business Analyst Apprenticeship's that Firebrand offer. I also support apprentices and employers from start to finish on the above apprenticeship programmes.

My current position is Senior Crime Analyst, working for British Transport Police. My role involves managing a team which delivers crime and intelligence analysis on a regional basis. I am currently a 1st line manager for 8 individuals; in addition I am responsible for the production of the Tactical and Strategic Assessments which guide business on a monthly and yearly basis. My team are also responsible for numerous types of analytical products ranging from the analysis of sickness data to the analysis of organised crime groups. My role also involves close interaction and understanding of the private sector, liaison with Train Operating Companies is critical as understanding of how their businesses change is key in making predictions of how crime levels will look in future years.

As a Criminal Intelligence Analyst; the main function of my role was to provide the Police with real-time analysis of crime patterns and trends in many varied formats in order to accurately place police resource. I produced and presented the monthly Tactical Threat Assessment, which not only required the use and knowledge of varying data sets but the confidence to deliver the analysis in a way that will be acknowledged and used. I was an active member of the Analyst Executive Panel, chaired by the Head of Profession which enabled me to influence decisions on Communication, Development, Information Technology and Staff Retention issues.

I was responsible for the Pallet Control for 2 major CHEP customer accounts Scottish Courage Brewing and their wines and spirits subset Waverley Vintners before being promoted to the control of Coca Cola Enterprises which provided over £25 million worth of revenue to CHEP. My responsibilities included the formulation and presentation of customer performance reports which would be delivered by myself on a monthly basis to both the customer and internal CHEP functions, I assisted with the project management of new RFID and web-based ordering technologies and was involved in the recruitment of new members of staff.
