The Office of the Commander Naval Reserves works to provide a sustainable strategic source of trained personnel for the Royal Canadian Navy and Canadian Armed Forces within a “One Navy” concept. This is accomplished through 24 Divisions across major Canadian cities.

Naval Reserves operations are broken down into four regions across Canada, with a Command Support/Guidance office working within each region. The Atlantic Office had oversight of four Naval Reserve Divisions within the Atlantic Canada Region. The Administration and Training position was the only full-time position on staff.
