Information Systems Management Officer for an Expeditionary Signal Battalion direct and manage information system assets involved with Automated Information Systems (AIS) and Internet Protocol (IP) Local Area Networks (LAN). Plan, develop, implement, and test state-of-the-art, real-time voice and data tactical information systems. Lead personnel on the installation, administration, securing and troubleshooting of tactical AIS, intranets, and VTC systems. Perform systems integration and administration create and implement Information Assurance/Computer Network Defense (IA/CND) programs to protect and defend information, computers, and networks from disruption, denial of service, degradation, or destruction. Develop policy and advise commander on operating, integrating and securing information systems in support of EUCOM, USAREUR, AFRICOM and NATO missions.
