In this role I helped ensure that well-fields were installed on time and under budget. This included electric log correlations, annotations and G.T. contour mapping. I then used this information to place injection and production wells and select the appropriate screened intervals to successfully extract the uranium. I was also given the responsibility of training and supervising a Staff Geologist.

As a Staff Geologist at the Smith Ranch Uranium Mine I assisted in all aspects of evaluating and planning in-situ uranium well-fields. My tasks included electric log correlations, annotations and G.T. contour mapping. I was also responsible for planning and executing delineation drilling programs, which included logging drill cuttings and occasionally collecting and evaluating drill core.
