Completed course in LIT Limerick - Energy Management and Systems Technology. As part of course had to submit project in relation to energy saving inside my workplace. Completed project working with the internal facilities team and energy awareness team onsite.Highlighted section of the production line where key electrical energy reductions could be made. This was highlighted on our internal energy system platform and the idea was fast tracked to senior management level due to project generating in excess of 250,000 euro in energy saving per annum in the facility.

Global project generated to find idea's or internal projects that could help increase production output or reduce quality issues in the Vision Care manufacturing plants. I highlighted a high risk section of the production line where quality issues have arisen impacting production.Project managed idea and project to turn this area into The Red Zone where the section of manufacturing was completely overhauled to highlight the critical aspects of this area. New daily line cleaning procedures were implemented and this project is now used to showcase to visiting regulatory auditors and senior management.Project is now being rolled out across entire manufacturing facility in Limerick Ireland.

• Received global award from Johnson & Johnson for environmental person of the year for a sole project generating cost savings of over €250,000, leading to a further project with savings of over €1.2 Million in air transport. This project was used as a subsequent case study for Johnson & Johnson environmental presentations and shared as a best practise initiative worldwide.
