I Started working as a repair and maintenance supervisor for the waste water. Primarily dealing with contractors to make sure Thames Waters high expectations were met on time and to the standard expected by the company. I also dealt with backlogs and lowering them. and general office paperwork as well as covering my allocated area.I then moved over to the Clean Water side of the business where again I am dealing with contractors to insure Jobs are completed. I also still cover backlogs to make sure the service level agreement is met, and Office work. I am now more office based and what could be described as "the go between" for my manager and the other supervisor's. I am trying to take a more active approach and have Taken charge of our team several times when my Manager has taken leave. I take charge of things such as Stakeholder meetings which include TFL as well as local authority meetings, and conference calls. , I Deal very closely with several key people within the boroughs of North London for example making sure, as much as possible we meet customer expectations as well as contractual obligations. I am also use to dealing with the responsibility of High level events and taking charge of these, to get the job done within the health and safety requirements of ourselves , our contractors and the local authority.
