After a 25 year career in the civil engineering consulting environment, I’m known for providing leadership and advice on design and construction projects and fostering excellent working relationships with clients, stakeholders, technical experts, and sub-consultants in a collaborative environment. Embracing a servant leadership approach, I set an example for my team through continuous improvement, life-long learning, exceptional customer service, and delivering client value. I’m proud to have sustained an engaged and productive team of over 20 individuals through the trials of Covid-19. My team recently scored 8.1/10 on engagement with an 86% aggregated participation rate on a recent company survey, and upheld team utilization of around 80%, and annual revenues exceeding $5M. As an active member of the CEA Transportation Committee since 2009, I’m committed to a sustainable, united consulting engineering industry. This involvement has developed my robust industry acumen and enabled me to bring fresh perspectives and a holistic approach to ensure the delivery of on-time, on-budget projects ranging up to $80M.In the spirit of continuous improvement, I recently took on a new personal challenge by studying and successfully obtaining the PMI’s Project Management Professional designation. This pursuit enabled me to improve my own project management capabilities, become a better leader of project managers, and inspire my team to consider similar career growth opportunities.
