CurrentRedesigned IT department, automating and optimizing day-to-day operations; migrating legacy servers onto SCALE VMs, virtualizing more than ten internal systems at 11 different locations, which is the largest Head Start organization in Indiana. Collaborated with the Board of Directors and all Department Directors to implement technology strategies that advance the Executive Director’s vision and organizational goals resulting in a $300,000 annual asset acquisition and licensing budget.Monitored the network using DarkTrace AI and Xcitium platforms as a cybersecurity solution.NOTABLE ACCOMPLISHMENTSCollaborated with Executive Director to rewrite all IT departmental policies adapting to the growth of IT and security. Re-negotiated 12 vendor contracts resulting in a 25% savings. That savings allowed me to reallocate those funds directly into upgrading the company’s IT infrastructure.Developed the company’s remote access ability which helped pivot the culture of a 100% on-site working environment to a new and improved hybrid model working schedule.Deployed and managed 2000+ iPads and Chromebooks using Meraki MDM, JAMF MDM and Google Admin. 90% of the Chromebooks were used for remote learning by the more than 1900 families we supported during Covid. Zero devices were neither lost nor stolen due to the security measures taken before deployment. Implemented specific cybersecurity measures to protect company data and systems which resulted in zero security breaches since its implementation 8 years ago.Introduced and managed the company’s Learning Management System (LMS) for employee training. We also used the LMS to assist the fathers/father-figures in our Fatherhood Program as a workforce development tool which allowed them to become gainfully employed after completing professional certificates courses. Assisted and trained 30 employees on building, testing and deploying SCORM courses now used for new hire and on-board training for the entire organization.
