My research goal is to design controllers for autonomous vehicles that plan trajectories in real-time and are robust (both in terms of safety and performance) to environmental uncertainty.I received a BS in Mechanical Engineering with a minor in Energy Studies from MIT in 2012. After graduation I worked as a well engineer at Shell Oil Company in New Orleans, LA. I returned to school at Michigan from 2016-2021; where I developed reachability-based trajectory design methods with my colleagues and professor Ram Vasudevan at the Robotics for Optimization and Analysis of Human Motion (ROAHM) Lab.I am continuing to pursue my research interests at ISEE, where I have been developing deep reinforcement learning-based policies for autonomous yard trucks!
