I work in Information Management - Our department provides support and strategical advice around operational knowledge of our Enterprise Content System Kete - which was developed in SharePoint. We also provide advice around retention and disposal of information that is no longer legislatively required under the Local Government Act and Public Records Act.Whangarei District Council is a wonderful place to start a career in the corporate industry. Being fresh off the plane from Australia it was hard finding a place to work. I was lucky enough to be accepted onto the Cadetship program that was hosted with People Potential at the time. After graduating and receiving my full-time employment contract, things kicked into overdrive, and I started taking on higher responsibility work. I really enjoy the mahi I am in now, but there is a current culture shift in the atmosphere, and I'm interested to see what's going to happen.
