• Operate studio cameras during the live “New This Morning” show and “Midday” show broadcasts.• Control electronic video tape decks, news clips, stocks and weather tickers, and the station bug in addition to lower-third, over-the-shoulder and full screen graphics as the Assistant Director of Midday newscasts.• Edit together local and national stories and segments in addition to teases, VOs and SOTs with Edius Editing Software.• Manage the floor by giving talent cues, changing lights, micing guests and rotating the set.• Record station promos, weather, satellite interviews, “Many Voices, Many Visions” and teaser segments live-to-tape.• Construct full-screen chyrons such pic-boxes, maps, lists and quotes on Lyric’s graphics generator.•Operate the TelePrompter during productions.• Train new hires on studio camera operation, editing and floor management.

Fall 2008:• Worked for Virginia Orzel for a year on her professional documentary, One Breath. My contributions included filming Brockport students smoking, Orzel taking her peak flow & netty pot, filming ragweed and medical equipment, and videotaping an interview with a Dr. Anatole Kleiner at the Asthma Allergy Immunology of Rochester, “AIRR” Center. Spring 2009: • Contracted through the College at Brockport to film two performances of Sankofa’s African Dance and Drum Ensemble. The footage was later edited into a professional DVD. Summer 2009: • Contracted through producer, Jing Mu & Boston, MA’s Medically Induced Trauma Support Services (MITSS) to film an interview with the College at Brockport’s Nursing Dept. Chairperson including cutaway b-roll. Fall 2009:• Contracted through Rochester, NY performance art group, “BioDance,” to film two of their dance performances at Calkins Road Middle School. I later edited the footage into a feature-length DVD with chapters and extras.

• Part-time consultative sales selling lawn equipment, sporting goods, repair agreements, credit product, doing in stock merchandising and signing.

• Shadowed field photographers weekly on remote and pre-recorded shoots.• Observed professional news-making in the studio and in sub-control.• Watched photographers prepare newscasts with Edius Editing software.

• Filmed live musical acts, set up and tore down equipment and directed cameras for the at the Constellation Brands Marvin Sands Performing Arts Center as part of an internship practicum. Filmed lived acts including Willie Nelson and the Moody Blues • Produced, shot and edited a 15-minute video highlighting the RBTL's Summer Stars program.
