An ever growing and more senior set of roles and responsibilities across the UK’s NHS National Programme for IT. Starting as the Integration lead and culminating the oversight of the functional delivery programme with accountability from release scoping through development, testing (functional, integration and non-functional/performance), and deployment.

As a Master’s Degree project, I undertook a piece of Systems Analysis work to capture requirements and produce a prototype system for the tracking/recording of experimental (proteomics) cancer research data. This project received 1st class honours and on its’ back, the Institute was able to gain significant funding from the European Research Council to develop the idea into a fully functioning system.
