Stryder Motorfreight is a vertical solution transportation, 3PL warehousing and logistics company servicing mainly food and beverage customers. My roles and responsibilities at Stryder have evolved over time allowing me to touch on many aspects of the business. These experiences have made me a valuable and well rounded employee able to provide on-time, reliable and high quality deliverables. Responsibilities/achievements include, but are not limited to:• Created a system to track all QC issues, damaged product reports and claims• Implemented said system in all facilities across the Stryder Network (9 facilities across Canada and the US totalling over 1,000,000 sq ft of warehousing space). This system has saved the company upwards of $200,000 in claims• Main escalation point to 30+ employees for all inventory control questions/concerns and system roadblocks• Collaborate with the WMS provider to customize processes within the system promoting continuous improvement, create bespoke reports used to diagnose issues in turn allowing the company to make business decisions to propel the company forward.• Create and publish administrative documents • Create and maintaining KPIs for weekly senior management meetings

• Manage a portfolio of 20+ accounts; scheduling freight for upwards of 80 loads/day, providing rates and billing transportation moves for some of the largest beverage companies worldwide. • Providing dynamic and quick problem solving solutions to fit the needs of the clients supply chain.

• Main escalation point to a team of 8 across 4 Canadian facilities for all customer service roadblocks • Create and maintain client relations ensuring all needs are met• Complete onboarding discussions with new clients. Train and roll out client specific needs to the team. • Completed training and executed skills as a Super User for the WMS system • Executed operations for new cross-docking business which included creating new billing techniques, creating a scheduling process and managing outside labour garnering the company upwards of $500,000 in revenue• Created a new dock schedule empowering daily operations to run more efficiently. This helped to create more visibility for daily capacities, manage labour and organize loads while respecting company processes and policies• Leading daily operations team for a 120,000 sq. ft. facility. Planning daily activities, assigning labour, managing the dock schedule and prioritising tasks to ensure all daily operations are completed in a timely fashion

At Blue Monkey, my work focused on strategy and execution of the supply chain, logistics, inventory planning, purchasing and international import/export processes from 7-10 overseas suppliers. I am responsible for managing inventory across 5 North American 3PL warehouses, creating and implementing new, streamlined SOPs, and daily monitoring of product movement. I provide cost analysis of our transportation and warehousing rates, rate negotiation, and sourcing new vendors. Most notably in my time here, I created and implemented inventory management systems, led the move into 2 more efficient warehouse locations and created new purchase order and cross border documents. I provide and analyze demand planning reports to ownership which are used to make purchasing/procurement decisions. I have also managed and claimed for duty refunds from the CBSA and created a food safety document allowing the company to apply for their CFIA Safe Food for Canadians License. These duties were completed while training and subsequently supervising a junior employee. These process improvements resulted in time savings and total savings to the company of $20,000+.

In this role, I researched potential new products, developed new formulas for trial, created and managed testing programs and researched the technical aspects surrounding the supply and distribution of these products (i.e. regulations for customs and border crossing of supplements). I also established new supply chains for future products, sourced and maintained vendors within the supply chain, managed production runs and associated logistics. Finally, I was responsible for updating cash flows, budgets and forecasts based on actuals, where appropriate, I would re-forecast based on new assumptions on demand.

Whistler/Vancouver, Bc

Responsible for creating and maintaining relationships with distributors and customers, business development and retention, attending international trade shows, account management as well as the development, maintenance, and analysis of inventory workbooks. I was also responsible for demand planning and sales forecasting, sales analysis, and inventory management, including import/export and coordination with our shipping vendors. On the marketing side, I managed all social media accounts, established & tracked promotions, created partnerships with other brands and influencer as well as being involved in re-branding of the products.

Whistler, British Columbia, Canada

In this role, I managed the full B2B and B2C supply chain . I prepared the necessary paperwork for product shipments, including BOLs, NAFTA docs and Customs docs. I negotiated rates with both logistics and supply vendors, tracked shipments to ensure on time deliveries and I performed cost analyses as requested, which were sent directly to the owner & president. I did all the buying for the office and was also involved in procurement of raw materials from overseas vendors. After some time, an additional staff member was hired to take on this role after I was promoted. I trained and supervised that staff member for all logistical activities for the remainder of my tenure.

Montreal, Canada Area

As the administrative assistant, I processed payroll for 175 employees across three corporations, prepared Scientific Research and Experimental Development (SR&ED) tax claims and bank reconciliations as well as monitoring the pay equity program. I was also a laboratory technician, with my duties following AATCC & CATCC standard test methods (dimensional stability tests, pilling & abrasion testing, crock meter testing, instrom stretch testing and width & yield verification). I was also responsible for the management of order shipments and packing as I ensured all orders were picked, packed, and shipped according to order specifications.
