Sean Bell is a native Seattleite and has been practicing in the field of Architecture for thirty years. After graduating from Arizona State University in 1988 he worked in several offices around the country, and in Canada. He opened his first architectural office in Seattle, Washington in 1997 which specialized in sustainable custom homes; developing a reputation for projects located on difficult and/or steep slopes. During this time, he patented, utilized and incorporated prefabrication techniques into his projects.“The final aesthetic result arrives naturally from a disciplined process of careful site analysis, attention to context, simple palette of natural materials and attentively listening to clients’ needs and desires.” His work has been published in numerous architectural journals and has been described in numerous ways, including 'warm industrial', 'industrial modern', 'warm', 'elegant', and 'unique'.
