Hired initially as part of the Web Consolidation and Renewal program where I updated internal and external pages with new ODP template. Created layouts and wire frames, designed and contributed to new corporate and consumer homepages in preparation of proposed site re-branding. I created and designed and updated the 2011 & 2015 Pan/Parapan Am games websites which can be viewed here: http://www.mhp.gov.on.ca/panam/en/default.aspDevelopment and deployment of 2010-2011 Healthy Ontario campaign: http://www.mhp.gov.on.ca/en/healthy-ontario.aspImplemented a mobile version of site. Updated and optimized existing web material. Designed custom 404 error pages and created accessible video players for homepage and Healthy Ontario campaign pages. Designed and deployed social media landing page designs. Reviewed web content in both English and French for consistency, coherence, functionality and compliance with OADA and WCAG 2.0 accessibility standards. Backup, maintenance and quality assurance. Developed QA testing checklist. Contacted external web contractors and developers. Worked cooperatively with the new media unit, communications and other ministry branches. Created and revised custom graphic elements such as info graphics, logos, icons and banners. Acted as backup for Web Coordinator. Migration and consolidation of existing websites, pages, resources and archival materials.
