NativeSean graduated from the University of Vermont in May of 2021 with a major in Public Communication, conc. in Visual Design and a minor in Music Business and Technology.Throughout Sean's tenure with the university he became very involved with many student organizations some of which included the Black Student Union, Office of Student Life, UVM Programming Board, the UVM Bored and more. Sean worked as an Office Administrative Assistant to the office of Student Life, Executive Assistant to the Director of Student Life, the Campus Programs intern during the summer of 2019, Writer with the UVM Bored team, and the Concerts Lead on U.P.B. Ideating, planning, and executing music related events such as Battle of the Bands, Professional Discussion panels, and the Annual Fall/Spring Fest music festivals. Through sed positions Sean was able to hone in on his passion of entertainment, creative marketing, publicity, and design. Outside of the University Sean partnered and worked with many local clubs, student bands, and organizations. Sean served as the Graphics Intern for The Sticky Brand, Booking Assistant with the Radio Bean and Light Club Lampshop venues, Manger of Don Rico, Podcast Fellow with the Media Factory, brand manager for @takeoutshorts, and Administrative Assistant to those that worked with Higher Ground. It was through these positions that Sean acknowledged he is able to successfully execute outside vendor communications, marketing initiatives, and music business. Though his work with Higher Ground was cut short due to the affects of Covid-19, during the summer of 2020, Sean pursued a job as an Interior/Exterior painter in Vermont and was commissioned to collaborate on a mural for the non-profit, Bread for the City in D.C.After graduating Sean continued to pave a professional foundation in Music Business and Marketing as a Communications and Marketing Intern with I.M.P. The owners of multiple legendary D.C. venues which include: the Atlantis, 9:30 Club, Lincoln Theatre, The Anthem, and Merriweather Post Pavilion.Sean currently acts as a part-time Site and Communications Manager. Sean is OTW in the Entertainment Publicity, Communications, and Arts/Media industries. Sean values and appreciates the ways in which sed industries foster community, cultivate relationships, and shifts global paradigms creating a more cultured and diverse world.
