In this chief of staff role, Sean transformed a rapidly growing consulting practice by enhancing, formalizing, and monitoring critical processes such as project management, staffing, billing, proposal development, pipeline management, marketing, training, recruiting, and performance evaluation. He led and facilitated strategic planning and forecasting across the firm. He also oversaw $6M/year in client engagements, including the planning, budgeting, staffing, and reporting phases of projects for Fortune 500 companies, institutions of higher education, government contractors, and non-profits. Sean transformed and standardized the new business proposal process, decreasing the level of effort to respond to opportunities and leading to over $1M in new revenue. He streamlined the billing processes, reducing the average time to invoice from 45 days to five, allowing the firm to recognize revenue faster and managers and partners to focus on other chargeable work.
