Reporting directly to the Managing Director, the role covers direct sales and marketing seeking new clients but also maintaining strong links with those in our existing portfolio. At the same time always looking to identify and develop new business opportunities.

Responsibilities include: management of CAN London facility and staff, marketing of CAN’s services; client liaison, project pricing and negotiation; project planning, resourcing and management.

Planning and management of projects from pricing stage through to completion, both technically and commercially. Projects range from structural inspection, investigation and testing to maintenance of high rise buildings and bridge structures including cleaning, painting, masonry repointing and repair, concrete repair and sealant works. Travelled extensively through India, Nepal, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Cambodia, Laos, Peninsula Malaysia and Borneo. Employed by Private Banking, Macquarie Bank Limited, Sydney, on the settlements desk for a total of four months.

A member of a small, dynamic team with responsibility for an annual budget of £5.7m. Established and managed distribution networks, requiring regular country visits, in countries where Desoutter Ltd did not already have a wholly owned subsidiary sales organisation including, Republic of Ireland, Sweden, Mexico, Colombia, Venezuela, Argentina and Chile.
