The company grew Revenue 10x and EBITDA at a +20% CAGR during his tenure. YDesign Group, which included YLighting and Lumens brands, was the recognized ecommerce leader in design lighting and furnishings.. YDesign Group was acquired by Design Holding (part of The Carlyle Group) in June 2021. It was rebranded to Lumens in 2022.Previously Sean was the senior vice president and general manager of EMEA for Business Engine (B2B software). He had P&L and direct line responsibility for all facets of the EMEA business including sales, marketing, services and support. This role culminated in Business Engine being bought by Planview. Sean has held Vice President and Director level roles in marketing, business development and product management at companies including Oracle.Sean's has earned a Bachelors of Science in Manufacturing/Industrial Engineering from Pennsylvania State University, a Masters of Business Administration from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management and a Masters of Engineering Management from Northwestern University's McCormick School of Engineering.
