Completed an analysis of political discourse in Canadian provinces surrounding issues of environmental rights. This research was part of the planning process which led to the launch of the national Blue Dot Campaign. The primary objectives were to:• Understand the approaches of Canadian provinces to addressing environmental rights.• Identify, through comparative analysis, leading jurisdictions in Canada with respect to advancing environmental rights.• Identify key stakeholders and authorities in the provinces engaged in discussion of environmental rights. Interviews were conducted with environmental, academic, and political leaders across the country. The final report was presented to the David Suzuki Foundation’s management team.
