Anera improves the lives of the Middle East's most vulnerable people with health, education and economic development and livelihoods programs. In times of crisis, we provide humanitarian and emergency relief. Working with a dedicated, expert staff of over 120 - mostly Palestinians, Lebanese and Syrians who work in the communities they come from, scores of local partner organizations, and 1,000s of donors and investors, we have nearly doubled our assistance over the past 3 years. We responded effectively to meet growing needs as a result of COVID. I oversee delivery of more than $100 million in annual assistance, and a $7m operating budget. Over 94% of our budget goes directly to programs and beneficiaries.
