Responsible for the development of grant funded instrument development program using cryogenic detectors sensing wavelengths from the optical into the submillimeter.* Technical oversight of $40M NASA instrument development program with 10 US and German University and Government laboratory programs to build 7 infrared imaging and spectroscopic instruments. * Managed outsourced development of 30 - 40 scientist and engineers in 3 US facility instruments, 3 US principal investigator (PI) instruments and 1 US instrument study.
