Dr. Sean E. Chillemi DACM is a graduate of the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine’s Bachelor of Professional Studies in Asian Holistic Health and Massage Program, and a Licensed Massage Therapist. Sean’s studies in Oriental Medicine started in 2006 after completing his Bachelor of Arts in Economics at Pace University. This change in career came after he was diagnosed with skin cancer in 2005. Sean learned and appreciated the importance of massage and body work in healing the mind, body, and soul. In return, he is dedicating his life to helping others restore their energy and health using beneficial holistic bodywork techniques. Sean is also on schedule to complete the Pacific College of Oriental Medicines Masters of Oriental Medicine dual degree program; upon completion Sean will be a Licensed Acupuncturist and a Certified Herbalist.In addition to being a Licensed Massage Therapist, Sean is also a Graduate of the Institute of Integrative Nutrition and is a Board Certified Holistic Health Counselor with the American Association of Drugless Practitioners (AADP). Sean is also a Nationally Certified Personal Trainer with the National Strength and Conditioning Association (NSCA-CPT). With over 12 years of experience in and out of the gym environment and numerous sports teams and events, Sean is more than capable of providing a sport specific, and or a completely individualized training regiment for each person as a whole.Specialties: Swedish, Shiatsu, Circulatory, and the Chinese Medical Massage otherwise known as Tui Na; has many applications towards promoting health and well being, and the treatment of many acute stage injuries; such as neck, shoulder, low back, knee, hip, and jaw pain (TMJ). Through the art of Tui Na, Sean is also able to treat a wide variety of internal disorders such as digestive issue, menstrual issue and other associated conditions.
