About Sean Christopher Tan
Coming from the Social work profession, client centricity has always been a core value to me. The turning point for me happened when I discovered that there was a real need in the finance industry for client-centric financial advice, one that was free of conflict of interest.After doing my own research and talking to many people, I stumbled upon Providend, a fee-only financial advisory firm. I decided to take a leap of faith to join Providend and what amazed me is how the firm takes client-centricity very seriously in the financial planning process. The firm’s commitment to eliminating commissions was for the purpose of ensuring a transparent and conflict-free environment in the financial planning process.As an Associate Adviser at Providend, I work with Senior Client Advisers to guide affluent families in achieving their life’s goals and dreams and providing a peace of mind through the process. Hobbies: Yoga, Pickleball, Bouldering, Spending time with my wife, Playing with my daughter and Reading.
