I worked as a contractor for Deloitte Consulting, working on the next iteration of the Texas Child Support Enforcement System 2.0 Playbook (or T2 Playbook) for the Office of Attorney General’s Child Support Division. My duties included designing training materials, serving as an administrative assistant in meetings, writing technical training documentation, as well as taking part in planning sessions and meetings surrounding this initiative.

My role was that of an entire Marketing Department. I was responsible for writing all marketing materials including email and web offerings as well as campaigns targeted at heavy equipment (Agricultural) dealers.

As Internal Communications Specialist I created an internal newsletter (electronic and print), content for a company intranet system, and helped develop of a marketable corporate identity model.

Created content, photography, and design for Special Sections (Homes, Apartments, Drive) and was responsible for the concept, creation and execution of the Austin Convention and Visitors Bureau's tourism magazine.

While attending Southwest Texas State University (now Texas State University — San Marcos) I wrote for The Daily University Star (features, editorials), Galaxy Magazine (entertainment - Editor in 1998), and served as a designer (Design Director in 1997, 1999) of the advertising department.

Composition, layout, and design of advertising within the Laredo Morning Times Newspaper in Laredo, Texas. When I began, I literally printed out an advertisement in pieces, assembled using an exacto blade and hot wax and "pasted-up" the ads. As technology advanced I'd design 100% electronically.
