Hired as the only engineer with a focus on security and automation, I was brought on tolead the growing startup in maturing their security posture in both technical and proceduralfronts. Duties include managing python code bases, GitOps, CI/CD development, AWSinfrastructure, serverless environments and security automation. Also served as the soleengineering in procuring SOC2 and LADMF certifications, as well as the complicationsaround PII storage for all registered voters in the United States.

Led team of 6 employees as the strategic and technical lead of the BeyondTrust practice to cross certify in IAM security products. Expanded the practice’s technical capability by implementing packages for custom development workshops, product enhancements, and DevSecOps integrations with other vendors. Widened product scope to include EPP and Remote Access vendors such as Avecto, Lieberman, Bomgar, and Thycotic while also leading technical partner relations with said vendors.

Hired as the first BeyondTrust practice consultant to build out the COE and foster sales and partner enablement. While deploying multiple different PAM solutions for customers, expanded the BeyondTrust team to 3x its size to meet the pipeline’s demand. Introduced additional service packages that made Optiv the preferred vendor for unsupported offerings, and with the help of my team became the Partner of the Year two years in a row.

Network Security Consultant: Consulting large industries (10-20,000 systems) on infrastructure and host-based security best practices and policies. Mixed environments are audited that contain multiple different application implementations along with virtual, cloud, and brick and mortar installations.PIM/PAM Consultant: Projects involve consulting and architecture of different PIM and PAM solutions on a high technical level. Integration of these technologies are seamlessly implemented with the client's multiple different privileged accounts across an entire infrastructure. I specialize in Lieberman ERPM, Beyondtrust, Dell TPAM, and CA PAM technologies.Network Architect: Work includes moving networks from insecure, flat methodologies to complex and high-level segmented and hardened networks that take into account their appropriate compliance requirements and security standards (PCI DSS, SOC, ISO, HIPAA, etc). Specialized hardening and consideration of sensitive traffic is secured and properly configured with a wide variety of network technologies.Cloud Infrastructure Architect: Clients are frequently provisioned with custom-tailored cloud environments that cater directly to many different vendor's software requirements. Different environments require specific security and compliance ordinates that must be strictly upheld from the PoC stage all the way to production. These environments are always set up for HA, global access, minimal latency, and the highest security possible.

Duties Included hardware, software, and networking diagnostics and installation mainly within a corporate office environment and restaurant POS network. Service was provided all over the US virtually and on-site, while also supplying support to corporate employees and remote associates in the field. Knowledge of Active Directory, Windows domains, Group Policy implementation, SonicWall Firewall configuration, and general hardware repair was utilized in this position.
