Sean Coar is a senior media executive with strategy, business affairs and operating experience, in organizations of all sizes. As the Chief Operating Officer of the Local Media Group at Televisa Univision, his team is responsible for cross-functional operations, political advertising and growth strategies for over 40 Spanish Language TV stations and 60 radio stations in the United States.Previously, Sean served as the Executive Vice President of Data Strategy and Operations, fostering efforts to develop data capabilities that can grow the business -- areas of focus include Household Addressable Advertising, Direct to Consumer video services and data-driven content recommendation. He served in a similar role at ViacomCBS, where he helped Viacom build the largest Addressable TV footprint in the country and a leading ad supported streaming TV platform. Prior to Viacom, he was the strategic and commercial lead for Time Warner Cable's (TWC) $1 B local TV and digital advertising business. Reporting to the President of Media Sales, he managed the Business Decisions team of over 150 planners, analysts, engineers and managers. Earlier in his career, he held strategy & planning roles at Time Warner (TWX) and the Boston Consulting Group.
