As a finance major at Fairfield University, I am passionate about learning and applying financial concepts and tools to real-world scenarios. I am currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Finance with a minor in Spanish, and I have received multiple honors for my academic excellence and leadership, such as the World Languages Award and the Brother Jeffrey Ox Student Athlete Award.I have also gained valuable experience as a Private Equity Intern at Union Park Capital, where I conduct initial due diligence on potential investments, create LBO models for financial analysis, and source industrial technology companies within the firm's investment criteria. Additionally, I am an author and editor of a bi-weekly economic newsletter, Stagonomics, where I collaborate with another student to write creative and fun topics and partner with the Economics Club and the Career Center to launch a Speaker Series. Furthermore, I am part of a team that manages $400,000 of the university endowment money as a Financial Analyst at the Fairfield Student Managed Investment Fund, where I pitch stocks regularly and work in small groups to benefit the club as a whole.I am looking for an internship in finance that will challenge me and allow me to contribute to the company's goals.
