With nearly two years of experience in the retirement plans sector at EisnerAmper, I am a Mathematics and Statistics graduate from St. Cloud State University. My journey began as an intern and has since evolved into a full-time role where I handle a variety of projects, ranging from distributions and annual administration to plan terminations.I have a passion for automation work and have led significant projects such as a Robotic Process Automation (RPA) that migrated files from Lurie to EisnerAmper. Another enjoyable project was automating the scraping of data from our plan’s adoption agreement stored as pdfs and storing that information in our new pension evaluation software. These automation projects have saved countless hours for colleagues, allowing them to focus more on client communication and experience.My skills in various tools such as VBA, Power Automate, PowerShell, R, Julia, and more have been instrumental in these projects. My background in statistics and machine learning has further enhanced my ability to organize and visualize data, understanding various data structures, and propose use cases for the data we have. I am also studying for actuarial exams, having successfully passed four so far (Exam P, FM, SRM, and FAM), with a future career goal to become a fully credentialed actuary. I plan to finish obtaining my ASA and EA in the coming years. Then I will start the journey to FSA. I stay up to date with the latest trends and developments in my field through articles published on various platforms such as X, the SOA webpage, Reuters, and from colleagues.My manager’s feedback reflects my commitment to my work: “He made meaningful contributions to the firm in this (technology) area.” I take accountability for tasks assigned and see them through to completion, meet expectations for timely schedule updates, and proactively communicate my availability to support previous and future engagement teams. I seek to expand my knowledge, continuously develop myself, and participate in technical training, be it formal or on-the-job training.I believe in the power of communication and maintain a strong rapport with clients and colleagues, ensuring their needs are met and expectations exceeded. I am excited to continue my journey in this field, constantly learning, growing, and making a difference.
