• Evaluates technology requirements and capabilities of potential IETF worldwide venues.
• Assists with venue and third party negotiations for technical access and network augmentation, including developing contract language to ensure availability of sufficient resources for successful delivery of the network.
• Liaises with and integrates venue technical staff and contractors into the “IETF team” to ensure smooth network build and operation for IETF delegates, hotel guests and hotel operations.
• Identifies and develops long-term relationships with potential donors of Internet circuits in each location for each IETF meeting.
• Drives the donation and installation of Internet circuits (1G to 40G) for each meeting.
