At SERA I worked primarily as a Job Captain. This involved responsibility for the documents, both their production and their final quality. This responsibility involved coordination of consultant documents and direction of consultant design work. Towards the production end, I oversaw interns and junior staff, directing their efforts as well as teaching the use of Revit and practical matters of construction. In parallel to production and coordination I conducted both code and material research, reviewing our documents and design to meet IBC/OSSC/ADAAG/FHA. Towards project completion I was responsible for finding specification information for systems and materials used in the projects, providing the project manager with basic specifications to integrate into the project manual. In addition I was required to review the project manual during production to coordinate the content of the manual and the drawings.
