As a System's Engineer for a nationwide company, I developed and implemented several IT solutions to solve dynamic issues during and after the Covid crisis. I moved many system critical devices off of bare-metal hardware, and centralized them onto a remotely manageable and easily configurable hypervisor. Old hardware was repurposed for smaller tasks and small branch sites.I configured Sonicwall Firewall's to allow remote access securely so remote workers could access internal resources, as well as created a file-storage plus SFTP solution for both internal and client use.I created the It infrastructure for a new remote site entirely from scratch including hardware acquisition, physical installation, software installation/configuration, and remote monitoring and DR tools.I am experienced working with secure data, and have implemented network and storage solutions that follow many common industry standards in relation to data security.
