As a SUD Counselor, I facilitate group sessions, provide crisis intervention, and coordinate care plans for clients with substance use disorders. I hold the CADC II and ICADC certifications, which demonstrate my knowledge and competence in addiction counseling.Former peer mentor and student assistant at Coastline College, where I supported the Rising Tide Scholars program, a unique initiative that helps formerly incarcerated and system-impacted students achieve their academic and career goals. I am pursuing an Bachelors in Arts degree in Sociology at Chico State University, with the aim of advancing my education and expanding my skills in the behavioral health field.I am passionate about helping people grow and evolve, and I value continuous learning and personal development. I have earned the Advanced Leadership Certification from The National Society of Leadership and Success, and I am a Rosicrucian philosophy student (AMORC). I am also a certified SMART Recovery meeting facilitator, which enables me to offer evidence-based and self-empowering support to people who want to overcome addictive behaviors.
