Savant Senior Living is a healthcare company owning several Assisted Living Facilities in Los Angeles and Riverside counties along with owning and operating a hospice and home health division.Currently oversee the financial division for the organization.

• Leads operations and accounting team in various project development and corporate strategy including monthly financial review, implementation of several new software, establishing a captive insurance division, recruiting department, office manager training position, accounts receivable division, and creating company wide policies and procedures• Leads a team of ten, including six analysts and four operations members. Analyst team goals are to create operating budgets, identify value-add opportunities for portfolio from software implementation, analyzing rent rolls, vendor contracts, market competition, staffing schedules, payroll quotes, and real estate tax bills. Operations team goals are to manage accounts receivable, community level training, recruiting.• Leads acquisition team in all aspects of acquisitions for senior housing portfolio. This includes underwriting of all potential acquisitions, presenting to ownership, analyzing markets, coordinating and reviewing third party reports, reviewing purchase and sale agreements, and leading operations team in transition. Has assisted on transactions totaling over $700M.

• Responsible for preparation of operating budgets for the entire $1B+ senior housing portfolio. Portfolio consists of more than 80 senior housing communities with a mix of Independent Living, Assisted Living, Memory Care and Skilled Nursing facilities • Oversaw team of three analysts in financial, revenue, and expense analysis looking for trends based on care level and size, and areas of improvement across the portfolio• Presented monthly financial reporting and analysis to ownership group to show portfolio performance

• Prepared monthly financial reports, census analysis, market rate analysis, and other KPIs to senior management• Thorough involvement in closing process including budgeting, title, escrow, licensing, payroll, staffing, utilities• Transitioned payroll companies for portfolio including underwriting, quoting, and analysis for cost savings

• Assist with the design, testing, and implementation of the department database and dashboard reports. • Conduct financial analysis on each asset individually to identify trends, areas of concern, and forecast models. • Assist with budget development, capital reserves, and the long term planning for each individual asset.

• Lead incoming members in the department to update them on office procedures.• Establish plans and goals for the department to achieve throughout the year.• Contribute in monthly meetings to analyze department progress and outline improvements.
