In July 2010 I decided to retire from the NYPD. It was time for my family and a change in Life Direction. So far so good!In my 24 years as a Police Officer, I worked in different areas of NYC. In my years on the NYPD I have been assigned to multilple Commands ranging from Patrol to Administrative Units.Currently work as a Security Officer, in a Long Island School District.My Patrol duties took me from Upper Manhattan (Harlem/Washington Heights) to Queens. As a Patrol Officer I was also assigned as a Community Police Officer who patroled a Beat and dealt with Quality of Life issues and Community issues on a Long Term Solution based, not a, solve the issue for then and let it fester for a long time agenda.In my Administrative duties, I dealt with Subpoenas and Court papers, and Service of said material to Courts and Public companies for records needed for Department cases.I have also worked in Commands, dealing with Chain of custody issues (Property and Evidence) Currently assigned to The Forensics Lab dealing with the Intake and disposition of Evidence.In my years as a Police Officer, I have dealt with small issues and Large. From a lost child, deliver a baby (twice)etc to Mass disturbances. I have learned to react in a calm manner and to think on my feet.My Goal(s) is too spend time with my kids and enter back into the workforce, when its right.Specialties: My diverse career has let me learn to deal with Public and Administrative issues.
