Sean is a Senior Associate at LGA Partners, one of the largest architecture and design firms in the Pittsburgh region. LGA is a regional leader in Airport, Corporate, Housing, Higher Education, Medical, and Retail design.With nearly 20 years of experience working on projects in nearly every market segment, Sean serves as the Studio Lead in the firm’s higher education efforts. He finds great value in the consensus-building necessary to incorporate the needs of varied and diverse stakeholders into a successful end product.Outside of the office, Sean serves the profession through his involvement in the American Institute of Architects. Sean currently sits on the local chapter’s Board of Directors, and has served in some capacity on virtually every committee, most notably the Young Architects Forum, where he acted as a champion for architectural licensure. Sean has parlayed that interest in the growth of emerging professionals into his work with the Foundation for Architecture, through which he helps to produce the Leadership Institute, an yearly program aimed at the development of emergent citizen architects. He is also actively involved in the local chapter of ACE Mentor Program, an outreach program serving students from several of the area’s high schools.A graduate of the Pennsylvania State University and a licensed architect in Pennsylvania, he’s an avid photographer, a self-proclaimed movie buff, a terrible golfer, and a huge fan of karaoke.
