My wife Jackie and I purchased the historic 90+ year old historic Star Theatre in Berkeley Springs, WV and plan to continue the tradition of providing affordable family fun to Berkeley Springs residents and tourists. The Star Theatre is a big piece of Berkeley Springs, WV that is famous for the beautiful Marquee with flashing lights and neon originally installed by the Alpine Movie Theatre Chain and the 1949 Manley Popcorn Machine that is still used to make the popcorn today! Having went digital the theatre is prime to continue to operate for many years to come. In August of 2019 we renovated the historic Star Theatre to add modern amenities while accentuating some of the original historic architecture that had been covered up since 1949. Jackie and I sold the theatre to lovely new owners in December of 2020. Knowing that we've forever left our mark on the historic theatre, we're extremely thankful for the opportunity we had to reinvent the theatre.

Cacapon River Outfitters was a canoe, kayak, and tube rental operation located along the Cacapon River in Great Cacapon, West Virginia. I saw an opportunity to share my passion of the river with the thousands of tourists who come to the area every year. We built the company in less than two months from start to operating. We had a very successful first year and grew during that time. I was responsible for sales, marketing, and operations of the business.

During my ownership DirftTough experienced massive growth in sales as well as online attention. We partnered with and sponsored a professional driver in the United States as well as in Japan. I also developed our own line of suspension products which I was responsible for the communication, design approval, and sales. Our manufacture was located in China, so this allowed me to understand the basics of international sales, marketing, importing, and exporting. I sold the company in 2013, it is still doing well today.
