Director Of Communications
As the club's first Director of Communications I had the unique opportunity to set the precedent for this position. I developed the club's new communication tone, design standards, and brand image internally to our members, externally in marketing materials targeted to potential members, and also through interaction with the outside community via Social Media. I was the person who initiated, developed, and executed TCC's Social Media program.Job Description (Short Version)-1. Internal and External Communications Development and ongoing management of the club social media pages (facebook/twitter), weekly emails to members, monthly newsletters, re-design and ongoing management of the club website, and direction of change communications involving leadership changes, staff changes, policy changes, and new expenses to the membership. 2. Membership Sales and Marketing Responsible for membership sales and the creation of all marketing materials including advertisements, mailings, and documents. 3. Graphic DesignCreation of club advertisements, mailings, newsletters, promotional materials, and graphics to be used across all platforms: print, web, social media, email, etc. 4. Photography Managed all official club photography which included taking photos at club events as well as photos of the golf course and club facilities for use in marketing materials and club newsletters.Special projects include: 1. Marketing for the club's large scale event "The Bunker" held in conjunction with the PGA Tour Memorial Tournament- Included development of a promotional video (featured below), print advertisements, communication to membership (this was a first time event in 2011), set up and management of an e-commerce store for ticket sales, and photography of the event for future marketing efforts.2. Management of the club's first ever Governing Board elections
