Sean George currently serves as the Canon to the Ordinary for the Diocese of the South. In this capacity, Sean is responsible for coordinating the work of diocesan staff, leadership credentialing, organizational communication, works with clergy in transition and oversees the transition processes with congregations, diocesan event planning and support, diocesan leadership training for clergy and lay leaders, capital campaigns, and database management. Previously, Sean worked in economic development and provided strategic planning, feasibility analysis, and project management services for major fundraising campaigns of $1 million or more in the Southeast United States. Sean worked with corporate organizations like Chambers of Commerce, Economic Development Councils, Downtown Revitalization Authorities, and other selected non-profit organizations.
