My enduring interest lies in the intersect where leader meets organisation, where the personal interacts with the social. I have spent the last 26 years assisting leaders in their understanding and their response to rapidly changing business & organizational contexts. This is an expression of my purpose: "unlocking human potential" (individual and collective). I started my Journey as a Health Psychologist focussing on Resiliency that led me into Leadership & Organisational Development.Informed by 'systems thinking & doing', I have developed practical models, processes, tools and methodologies to provide creative and innovative interventions to address 'messy problems'. My passion is partnering with leaders who are required to lead their organisations through change and uncertainty. To innovate and to develop more adaptive responses to navigate the impact of exponential change.Clients have been multi-national corporations operating in Africa, Middle East & Europe across multiple sectors (Beverage, Confectionary & Foods, Retail, Energy, Print/Media, Mining, Sports, Heritage, Healthcare, Telecoms, Defence, Financial Services, Banking, Professional Firms, Packaging, Pharmaceutical, State Owned Enterprises and Start Ups). Each assignment has required a consideration of the local context, organizational culture and industry/sector realities. I have coached many "action learning/innovation" projects, using Design Thinking to enable project teams solve wicked problems. These experiences contribute to a pragmatic understanding of the broader systemic conditions that impact on the challenges and opportunities clients face. My work focusses on: Process Facilitation (strategy development, business planning & execution) linked to goal alignment (individuals & teams); Consulting on the design and execution of specific Change initiatives (and assisting leaders to navigate such transitions); Design & Delivery of Leadership programmes; and delivering topic specific workshops & training modules (e.g. Digital Leadership/Transformation).An enduring approach is one of cultivating a "collaborative partnership" to deliver bespoke solutions, owned by the client, that has sustained impact. I have a firm belief in the benefits of a 'tight-loose-tight' methodology, working with the paradox (or polarity) of integrating both structure/focus ('will') AND emergence/flow ('grace'). This is a recognition that real value emerges from that "liminal space" between science/methodology and art/creativity.
