On May 1st, 2012, I became the Director, Career Center at the University of California at Riverside (UCR). After five years, on October 3, 2017, I helped design and dedicate a new 9,500 square foot state-of-the-art Career Center, demonstrating our mission to connect, inspire and empower our students to become the most career ready candidates in the global workforce, and increasing the value of a UCR degree for all current students, alumni, and future Highlanders.Previously I served at the Cal State Fullerton Career Center as Associate Director from 2007 - 2012. I was Associate Director of the MBA Career Center at UC Irvine from 2002 – 2007.Prior to this, I was a Partner at the Strategic Executive Search (SES) Group, a global retained executive search firm, based in Taipei, Taiwan, from 1998 – 2002.I began my career, in 1991, at the global investment bank of Communications Equity Associates (CEA), providing corporate investment banking services out of their Hong Kong office. I graduated with honors in Asian Studies from UC Santa Barbara, and have a certificate in International Management from the Graduate School of International Relations & Pacific Studies at UC San Diego.
